Support Us
The Cape Eleuthera Foundation is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization committed to education, research, and conservation. It supports the work of the Deep Creek Middle School, The Island School, and the Cape Eleuthera Institute. The foundation depends on the generous support of alumni, parents, friends, and foundations to provide unique learning opportunities and authentic research programs in The Bahamas.
The Deep Creek Middle School and Resource Center is a powerful program on the island. DCMS depends on the generosity of individuals, families, and foundations to sustain its programs. The school can not operate on tuition alone; even the approximately $1,500 tuition per student comes only a small way toward supporting the $6,500 per student cost of operating the school, and additional financial aid is also made available depending on family need. But beyond offering financial assistance, there are many ways that you can help us improve and expand:
Summer Camp Hosts - We are seeking families to assist in finding summer camp opportunities in the U.S. for DCMS students and facilitating transportation to and from camp.
Scholarships -
We have a student sponsorship program for $5,000 per year but gifts at any level are greatly appreciated.
School books and supplies -
We currently have a wish list on Amazon.com
We welcome the opportunity to explore the different ways your company can sponsor the Cape Eleuthera Foundation.
Help us to continue the tradition
